Starting out from near the old railway bridge in Crew Green this route gives you the opportunity to explore a tributary to the River Severn called the River Vyrnwy visiting the ancient wooden melverly church which has stood there since 1406. After this you will head down stream towards our centre at Montford bridge passing the Royal Hill pub where we highly recommend you stop for lunch.
This route is suitable for beginners with a couple of gentle yet easy to navigate faster flowing sections mixed with islands to keep the route exciting. The trip ends back at our centre where we have a pub/restuarant on site for you to relax in and enjoy some food by the river side.
