This is a very unique section of the River Severn. For the biggest and longest river in England it is suprising how small and narrow it can be this high up.
Starting from Llandrinio bridge you will wind your way through some mildly faster flowing sections, with small rapids and beautiful wooded sections you will see amazing wildlife such as kingfishers, swans and otters. With a chance to see the 14th century Melverley church, Crew green bridge and confluence of the Vyrnwy this is the perfect trip for anyone looking for a half day adventure.
