Setting out from the historic Royal Hill inn near Edgerley you head downstream through the stunning English countryside surrounded by native woodland, hills and a stunning array of wildlife.
Take your adventure to the next level with this wildcamping trip where you will need to transport absolutly everything you need with you as there are no facilities on site (thats right not even toilets!). We will provide a fold down fire pit and a fire kettle for you to take along for your morning cuppa.
Day 1 from Edgerly to the wild camp site is just over 12 miles and should take you around about 6 hours including a lunch stop at Montford Bridge (The Wingfield Arms pub is available here).
Day 2 From the Wild camp site to Shrewsbury is just over 7 miles and should take you around about 3 hours allowing you time in the morning to de camp and finish early afternoon.
We have showers available back at base should you wish to have one after your trip before your drive home
This route is suitable for beginners with a couple of gentle yet easy to navigate faster flowing sections mixed with islands and stream inlets to keep the route exciting.

We have a small amount of paperwork for your group to fill in.
We then provide you with the required safety equipment for the day.
We transport you to your chosen start point and meet you at the end point and transport you back to your car.
